Born in 1991, Kübra Yarar specialises on figure and abstract art using acrylic and mixed media.

The artist has been interested in the plastics arts since childhood and has studied in Muğla University Fine Art Faculty. Kübra Yarar has founded an art studio in Gümüşlük, Bodrum in 2013 named “Artists at Work”. She later turned this studio into an art production platform by opening its doors to artists from many countries. She has also organised international artist residence programs in Eklisia Art Center in Gümüşlük. She has established her art over these cultural variances, layers and tissues.

She has worked in the studios of painters such as Yavuz Tanyeli, Suat Akdemir and Ali Atmaca. 

The artist describes her painting as such: “In my compositons, I describe people's dilemmas about life, their choices and the places where they want to be. I am especially interested in the contrast between the persona in one’s self and the outer persona that is imposed by the society. In time the people in my paintings have first lost their sexes and then their personalities.”

Kübra still lives and works in a small village in Bodrum.
